You Gotta Work For It Economy ATS 1.41
Makes the Economy realistic by adjusting per mile pay to reflect what a driver would keep after a cost of living deduction.
Since there is no place in the game to take this deduction and show the amount, I have
configured it into the pay per mile as follows: [and of coarse, experience and cargo are factors].
Drivers per mile AVERAGE real world pay is About $.50 per mile.[NOT WHAT MOD DOES] Owner Operator per mile AVERAGE real world pay is About $2.00 per mile.[NOT WHAT MOD DOES] Cost of living is Rent or mortgage, food, medical, car loan, car gas, kids collage, kids period and so much more [adults know this, kids might not]. This I rounded to about 80% of income.
I calculated the pay per mile, in the game, to have ALLREADY DEDUCTED the cost of living 80%
thus showing a pay per mile of about .01 to.10 cents per mile “driver scale” and
.10 to.50 per mile “owner operator scale”, depending on load content and experience.[YES WHAT MOD DOES]
Since your cost of living has been deducted, this amount is your “extra” money.
The money you would use to buy toys like fancy wheels or that paint job or that cb radio
or that bigger engine.
You also have to pay loan payments with it.
Since we are now talking about loans, the loans and payment amounts have changed.
All loan payments are based on a 2.33 year loan making all payments close to equal.
Loan of $10000 = payment of $12 a day
Loan of $50000 = payment of $60 a day
Loan of $100000 = payment of $120 a day
Loan of $200000 = payment of $239 a day
These payments look easy but if you stick with this mod you will find you have to work for it!
Bankrupcy is a possibility with this mod. I dont know what will happen “in game” if you
go to far into the red but…
This is not a get rich quick world. This is not a get rich quick mod. You have to work for it!
