Realistic Car Prices mod for ETS2.
This mod adjusts the prices of many car mods you can find for version 1.61. It does not change anything about those separate mods, only changes the prices in the mod dealership that the game calculates.
Why would you need this? If you enjoy immersion like I do, you’d be confused why a Rolls-Royce Phantom would cost you only ~56.000 € while you’d have to pay double that amount a Ford Focus. Since ETS2 adjusts car prices by their engines, transmissions and other upgrades, it took a couple of tries to get this right.
Modded cars now cost roughly the same as you’d find that car online for sale. The newer the model, the closer it’ll be to MSRP. For the older cars, there are a few exceptions if a car could be considered rare. Rare = more valuable, easy as that.
Yet Another Rain mod for ETS2.
Manually Reworked:
Raindrop texture: smaller and denser droplets with increased resolution.
Falling rain streaks: more frequent, but less intrusive and distracting.
Raindrop settings: more beautiful, atmospheric, and detailed look while maintaining good visibility.
Behavior: almost all raindrops are dynamic, with a drying time of around 15 minutes of in-game time after the rain. Some drops keep moving after the rain stops, creating a stunning visual effect.
Side windows and windshield bounds: fully redone by hand. All 78 (78!!!) win_mask_l.dds and win_mask_r.dds files were manually redrawn using a graphics tablet, also every single glass config (50+) was edited. Now all windows on every truck are fully covered with raindrops.
Bug fixes: fixed various issues for certain trucks, except for the FH4/5/6 windshields (side windows work fine; I am already testing a fix for the windshields, and if successful, I will release it as a separate mod, so stay tuned).
Compatibility:
Fully compatible with all other mods.
The mod replaces only three textures, the glass configs, and side window masks. It does not modify the weather system, sounds, or any other game files.

Realistic Police System mod for ETS2.
This mod recreates how speeding by trucks is treated in Europe.
In Western Europe, police are fairly tolerant of trucks exceeding the speed limit, due to the 90 km/h speed limiter and the minor difference between, for example, 70 and 90 km/h - especially since the difference is hard to notice visually - and because police are busy with traffic management, inspections, and other duties. As a result, your chance of getting a fine from police cars becomes 2–10 percent.
Cameras record violations the same way as in the vanilla game, with 100% probability.
Fine rates, especially for speeding, become realistic relative to the European average. The fine amount does not depend on your level or the number of police cars nearby.
Fines for accidents are set to a symbolic 10 euros. In most cases, in real life, damage is compensated by insurance companies. In ETS2, AI drivers are very often at fault in accidents, and the player still has to pay for truck repairs out of their own pocket. In real life, there is no such thing as a “fine for an accident” - you pay for the traffic violation that led to it.
The mod is intended more for roleplay-focused players. In theory, the higher the speeding, the higher the chance of getting a fine, but this does not always trigger as expected within the game’s limitations.
