Santiago de Compostela Added map mod for ETS2 1.57. Set in the Galicia region of Spain, it adds Santiago de Compostela, the Pontevedra area, and settlements along the N-550 road with high realism and good optimization.
This is the thirteenth version of my map.
In addition to continuing to improve and polish details in the areas already built, and following the expansion plan that I had previously drawn, I have added new areas. Specifically, I have rebuilt the exit from Bertamiráns to the east and I have continued the national road N-550 until reaching the outskirts of the city of Pontevedra, recreating the villages of Iria Flavía, Padrón, Pontecesures and Caldas de Reis and also including Picaraña, Valga and Briallos.
In all these areas I have tried to maximize the realism as well as the details that make it possible to clearly identify each place. At the same time, I have tried to achieve the best results in terms of optimization. To achieve these objectives I’ve made the most of both the techniques and tricks learned in recent years and all the elements existing in the map editor, including the most recent ones. Perhaps that is precisely the most painful part of the work done: Review time and time again all the elements existing in the editor until you can find the item that fits in each specific point. But I think the result has been worth it.
No errors or warnings in the game.log. Totally clean.
Well optimized. It works smoothly on even the least powerful computers.
Corrected and adapted for version 1.57. I have used specific elements of the new version.
