ETS2 1.61 Google Maps Style GPS - Darkmode

Google Maps Style GPS - Darkmode for ETS2.

Standalone Dark Mode for Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.61.*

A calm, blue-charcoal GPS theme with a blue route, readable grey roads and muted green terrain. Includes 21 map icons, a clear destination flag and compact F5 and rest/pause panels with 40% transparency. Completed photo and video points use yellow symbols on grey badges; incomplete points use white. The world map keeps its native road-discovery colors.

Enable this mod and disable the Light version, Combined experiments and other GPS themes. Only one GPS theme should be active. The Light version is not required. This theme is always dark: automatic day/night or headlight switching is not included.

Designed for the standard game GPS screens. Custom truck GPS screens, replacement HUDs and map/zoom mods may require a compatibility patch. Mods replacing def/map_data.sii need a merged definition to work together.

Google Material Icons (round) are used under Apache 2.0. Original Weaysy contributions use MIT. Adapted game definitions remain SCS Software content. Licences, source provenance and modification notices are included. No Google Maps app artwork or logos are bundled. Independent of Google and SCS Software. Google Maps is a trademark of Google LLC.
