These cheat commands can be used both in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) and American Truck Simulator (ATS). The commands do not work with TruckersMP. With cheats, you can disable fatigue, traffic, and police, adjust the game speed, and monitor FPS performance.
How to Enable the Console (ETS2 & ATS)
- To use cheat commands in ETS2 and ATS, you must first enable the developer console:
- Go to Documents > Euro Truck Simulator 2 or Documents > American Truck Simulator
- Open the config.cfg file with Notepad
- Change g_console 0 to g_console 1 and save the file
- Change g_developer 0 to g_developer 1 and save the file (Required for some console commands.)
- Launch the game and press the é (`) key to open the console
Available Cheat Commands (ETS2 & ATS)
g_fatigue 0
Disables driver fatigue. (Set to 1 to enable it again)
g_police 0
Disables the police. (Set to 1 to re-enable)
g_traffic 0
Removes all traffic from the roads. (Set to 1 to restore traffic)
warp 0.8
Changes the game simulation speed. (Default value: 1)
g_income_factor 3
Allows you to earn 3x money from deliveries. (Default value: 1)
g_minicon 1
g_fps 1
Displays a small HUD showing the current FPS
g_set_time 09 05
Changes the in-game time (example: 09:05)
free_camera 1
Enables free camera mode (useful for screenshots and videos). (Set to 0 to disable)
g_suspension_stiffness 1
Increases suspension stiffness for more stable driving.
g_truck_stability 1
Improves vehicle stability and reduces rollover risk.
g_trailer_stability 1
Improves trailer stability.
g_brake_intensity 2
Increases brake response strength.
g_ai_traffic_speed 1.5
Increases AI traffic speed. (Default value: 1)
g_ai_traffic_density 0.5
Reduces traffic density.
g_truck_damage 0
Disables truck damage. (Set to 1 to enable)
g_trailer_damage 0
Disables trailer damage. (Set to 1 to enable)
g_show_game_elements 0
Hides HUD elements for cinematic gameplay or screenshots. (Set to 1 to show again)
g_exp_gain 2
Increases experience points gained from deliveries. (Default value: 1)
goto XXX
Teleports the player to the specified city. Example: goto berlin
g_set_weather 0
Manually changes the weather type. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 = Sunny weather, 2, 4, 6, 8 = Rainy weather

Shows in-game trigger and HUD icons (fuel, service, sleep, job markers, garages, etc.).
